Pho La Cay Reviews

This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. Service was fantastic. The host was on his way with menus as we were walking in. We were immediately served water and given time to look over the menu. We ordered the tofu summer rolls. They come with peanut sauce but I asked the server if they had a sweet and sour type sauce, and he brought a delicious ginger sauce and the peanut sauce. The rolls were fresh and delicious. My bf got the #1 pho, which is what he gets at every pho restaurant. He said it was delicious and there was so much he couldn't finish it ( which never happens). I got the shrimp and rice, and the shrimp were incredible. They were slightly crunchy and cooked to perfection. Combined with the vegetables, rice, and fish sauce, it was delicious. The food was hot and served quickly. We will be returning even though it's a bit of a drive for us. It was worth it.

Everything was good. The food of my people representing in Columbia. I was looking for some banh mi but didn’t want to try the overpriced hippy places. So I found this and made the drive. It did not disappoint. I was hungry so I ordered the banh mi cold cut and the bun bo hue. My gf had the curry chicken noodles the flavor were good too. If you haven’t tried any other Vietnamese dish try Bun Bo Hue to add some extra spice in yo life instead of eating pho all the time.

Huge fan of this chain with its big brother location in Wheaton. My family and I have dined and ordered carry out from here. Food is very consistent and well seasoned. Their classic MD chicken rice dish is delicious and a must try. The pork chop rice dish, Pho and Bun Bo hue are good as well. The summer and egg rolls are authentic here. Columbia is pretty limited with Vietnamese cuisine, but this spot makes some great Vietnamese home cooked type dishes. Seating here is wide open with some high ceilings. Located right next to Pub Dog this is a great place to get some lunch or dinner with friends or family.

My 1st Chicken Banh Mi sandwich I dipped it into my Pho Chicken Curry bowl...... Definitely will be back for more of the menu. 1st time visiting, it will not be my last time

No wait time to seat if you're there before dinner time. The wait time after you order depends on what food you're choosing that time. Our order this time: Pho Tai, large, as delicious as always with fresh ingredients all are perfect in bowl. Rice dishes: R1, crispy fried chicken with tomato rice and ginger sauce: the chicken is truly crispy and crunchy skin and the ginger sauce is differently delicious. Stir Fried Noodles MX1, crispy noodles with seafood, meatballs and vegetables topping. This is always our favorite, the noodles stay crispy and very light while you're eating them. Ask for liquid pepper or spicy oil to eat with all, especially the fried chicken and the noodles. *I always bring my own hot peppers, fresh and raw, to eat with soup or any dishes, but this time I forgot so the owner offer the liquid pepper. The liquid pepper taste hot and spicy, perfect for the food. 5 Stars for food and service. 5 Stars for seating spacing experience, if it's not too crowded they will let you seat with great distances, but we never there when it's too too crowded.

The pho was absolutely amazing with generous portions. The food was served promptly, and the customer service was excellent. The establishment was clean & pleasant, with great music adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I think this is the best pho in this area! We tried normal pho, spicy pho, and papaya salad with grilled shrimp. Everything was real good. Tasty broth, I don't have to add anything. Service was excellent too. My daughter was sick when we came the first time. They even offered fresh ginger to put in water hoping to make her feel better. Highly recommend!

We came here because it was close by to Costco and we were looking for something warm to eat. The restaurant is kind of in a deadish looking plaza, but there is plenty of parking right out front. I ordered my usual at any pho restaurant that offers: the Bún Bò Huế! I must say their soup is especially salty, but I really like it! I do have to drink a ton of water afterwards though. My only disappointment was that there was only a small thin triangle slice for the blood jelly instead of the usual cube blood jelly that is soft like tofu-ish. My husband ordered a Viet sandwich along with some pho bowl. We thought the pho bowl was an additional 4 add-on, but became a whole separate pho bowl order? So I guess we misunderstood the menu on the add-ons for their sandwiches. Overall it was a great experience and customer service is amazing here!! Will definitely be back for more!
